Cooking master class
Showcasing our kaimoana this year are some of New Zealand’s top chefs. They’ll make fresh, delicious seafood dishes look quick and easy to prepare.
Get ready for your seafood cooking master class hosted by our chefs on the Cooking Stage. This year we are delighted to welcome back former Master Chef judge Ray McVinnie. Joining Ray will be Nici Wickes, another fabulous chef that we have welcomed in previous years and Michael van de Elzen rounds out our trio of talented chefs.
Each chef will perform a 40 minute culinary presentation. Prepare to be inspired!
Master Chef judge, Ray is a renowned food writer, chef and has published five books – we’re excited to have him back.
Nici is a food and cooking enthusiast. A published cookbook author, entertainer, broadcaster, food stylist, recipe developer and food editor she’s all about no-fuss, confidence-building cooking.
Michael van de Elzen
Michael is one of New Zealand’s most loved chefs having starred in a number of television shows, most recently TVNZ’s Eat Well For Less New Zealand. He is well known for his restaurants, Good From Scratch brand and more recently, the Good From Scratch Cookery School on his lifestyle property in Muriwai.
